- Understand the department's and company's strategic goals and competitive position and drives client-level results towards these ends. Actively works with Sales team to manage most complex portfolios of clients towards financial and business targets, e.g. membership, revenue, margin, etc.
- Proactively draws insights from quote details, client understanding and regional insights to deliver best-possible recommendation to Sales. State and maintain independent perspective, including under pressure from more senior individuals, identifying opportunities and concerns.
- Responsible for portfolio of clients through underwriting engagement, from identification through documentation of final sold-contract details.
- Serve as the accountable owner for all quotes delivered to sales partners. Develop a perspective on each client package deliverable. Clearly and confidently communicates Underwriting's position on the risk profile of each client.
- Identify tool improvement needs and communicates needs to Product Development teams.
- Maintain accurate book management details including concession budget.
- Perform strategic trend analysis that may involve one complex client or block of clients.
- Serve as subject matter expert and train team members.
- Other duties as assigned or requested.
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics or related field

This job serves as the single-point-of-contact for sales teams and most critical and complex customers, delivering insights and recommendations to sales in order to aid customer acquisition/retention while maintaining performance goals.
The incumbent will be assigned to more complex and critical clients and books of business and will serve as subject matter experts for other team members.
The incumbent will perform client specific trend analysis and other strategic ad-hoc analysis, while serving as a trusted adviser to Sales and clients.
