As an Assistant Account Consultant at Savoy, you'll have the opportunity to support our business development team in ensuring a smooth internal process that translates to our outside broker partners as a coordinated, proactive, and organized administrative unit.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing small group case installations, including scrubbing paperwork, obtaining missing information prior to carrier submission, entering client information accurately into carrier online portals.
  • Assist with processing renewal changes through carrier portals and/or submission to carrier ensuring all paperwork is received and processed timely.
  • Handle front line communication with brokers during installation and renewal change process while setting proper expectations.
  • Ensure all new cases and renewal changes are entered in VUE timely and accurately, including split information where applicable.
  • Assist with coordination of quote requests; handle medical underwriting and additional information requests from carrier.
  • Maintain new business installation, quote request, and renewal trackers.
  • Obtain and provide forms and materials to brokers such as rate grids, SBC's, benefit summaries.
  • Service existing accounts as needed, including claim and billing inquiries, member maintenance, general group administrative changes and open enrollment kits.
  • Additional assignments or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS preferred but not required
  • 13 years experience in group health insurance preferred
  • Accident & Health License required within 36 months of hire
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and maintain organization in a fastpaced, changing environment
