Are you a licensed insurance producer seeking an exciting new opportunity? If so, we'd like to speak with you. Savoy Associates is looking for a dedicated and experienced Account Manager to join our growing team


As an Account Manager at Savoy Associates, you will support, build, and maintain solid relationships, by assisting in the overall growth of our established and emerging markets.


Responsibilities

  • Participate in presentations to existing and prospective clients
  • Strategize on sales situations and facilitate solutions to complex problems
  • Manage full book of business with a range of sales, service, and renewal
  • Train broker partners on carrier procedures and portal systems as needed
  • Become familiar with broker preferences and maintain exceptional relationships
  • Be the expert on carrier products; communicate regarding new products and system changes
  • 51+ RFPs, identify cross sale opportunities, medical underwriting/additional information requests
  • Process carrier submissions, handle installation paperwork and underwriting requirements
  • Negotiate new business and renewal rates with our carrier partners
  • Bring attention to manager any anticipated issues or delays before they escalate
  • Provide accurate and timely information to internal departments, i.e. VUE entries, BORs, etc.
  • Handle or see to resolution any service requests (corrections, claims, billing, plan changes, etc.)
  • Acquire expected time frames and set the proper expectations with brokers and vendors
  • Other projects and assignments as necessary

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree preferred but not required
  • 5+ years experience in group health insurance preferred
  • PA and DE State License is required
  • Demonstrated ability to work at high levels of productivity
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Customer focused attitude and skills to effectively resolve inquiries
