Duties
We are looking for a Paralegal to join our team.

Job Summary:

Draft routine or complex legal documents for review by attorneys.
Review, organize, and summarize depositions, pleadings, and reports.
Draft responses to written discovery, responses to subpoenas, correspondence, other legal documents.
Provide support in case management of pending litigation
Manage calendars, schedules, and deadlines effectively.
Maintain and update case files, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded.
Ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry standards including but not limited to assisting with litigation holds.
Uses basic understanding of medical terminology, records, typical injuries, and treatment to assist with medical records collection and review of medical records in assigned files
Reviews medical records and prepares summaries requiring basic understanding of typical injuries
Uses basic legal writing and research skills and knowledge of proper format and citations.
Assist with legal bill review

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Must have 5+ years of experience.
Must possess a degree or certification in paralegal studies from an accredited institution.
Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel is essential.
Familiarity with LexisNexis for legal research.
3+ years of personal injury experience required.
Experience in medical record review is required.

Preferred

Qualifications:

Experience as a civil litigation paralegal preferred.
Insurance defense background preferred.

Education:

Certification in paralegal studies strongly preferred or developed paralegal experience.
