- Drives and increases sales through a collaborative strategy with The Standard by building relationships with internal key stakeholders.
- Applies subject matter expertise for external partners and internal sales force to include systems, claims, and technologies.
- Trains internal sales team on process, product, and culture as it pertains to the partnership.
- Participates in and supports renewals based on complexity and deliverables.
- Leverages sales consultant relationships and ensures tracking of metrics.
- Tracks results of opportunities and utilizes information to drive results.
- Engages process owners to assess impact of change.
- Identifies risks associated with change and develops risk mitigation strategies.
- Escalates matters to leadership advisory counsel as appropriate.
- Partners with appropriate support teams and management to plan and execute effective implementation of change.
- Provides post-change support.
- Designs solutions and changes to current roles, processes, procedures, training, and systems.
- Facilitates cross-functional teams and engages with The Standard for negotiations that result in workable solutions.
- Liaison or consulting experience strongly preferred.
- Sales experience preferred.
- Business process design, technology solutions and application of operational and financial data strongly preferred.
- Experience with products, claim practices/process, standard value proposition, administrative procedures, services, contract language and provisions, and project and vendor management strongly preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and well organized preferred.
- Travel up to 30% highly preferred.

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Distribution Partnership Sales Director is responsible for influencing and partnering with The Standard and Elevance Health organizations to bridge the capabilities, processes, and key relationship as a partnership subject matter expert.

Minimum Requirements:
Requires BS/BS and minimum of 8 years experience in a medical and/or specialty sales environment; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $155,652 to $278,000.
Locations: California; Colorado; Hawaii; Nevada; New York; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ.
