    About the role:

    BE MORE with Anu seeks a well-organized, detail-oriented rising social media marketing professional with a background in content marketing to support our ongoing social media strategy for our company, @bemorewithanu, and our thought leader, @anuguptany. The Social Media Assistant will work collaboratively with our marketing team to execute on a content-first strategy for sales conversion and revenue generation.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Drafting social captions for both B2C and B2B audiences
    • Preparing social media posts for in-app and third-party scheduling
    • Scheduling newsletters through HubSpot
    • Design support for social creative static and video
    • Hashtag research, trend analysis, and other analysis as needed
    • Sharing posts to stories daily
    • Reposting and resharing collaborative material
    • Support with weekly and monthly reporting
    • Capturing Anu at local/NYC events

    Qualifications:

    • Baseline Practical Skills:
    • Proven experience creating and adapting content across multiple channels (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok, Twitter/X, and Youtube) to support a pillared strategy is required.
    • Experience writing content optimized for SEO best practices is helpful but not required.
    • Deep understanding of customer avatars and segmentation as it relates to content development and execution.
    • Experience with our tech stack is helpful, including Google Drive/Calendars, Slack, Zoom, Eventbrite, and Asana.
    • Your Temperament:
    • A can-do attitude, good sense of humor, and a lot of patience, i.e. the ability to explain the same thing several times without getting frustrated, and a commitment to creating a compassionate and safe space for our future clients and students.
    • A commitment to kindness and respect in speech and action.
    • A sense of efficiency and punctuality.
    • Critical thinking skills and a solutions-orientation: you have the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend creative solutions.
    • Experience and passion for mindfulness, DEIB, racial equity, and/or social entrepreneurship is a plus.
