This role will support all Business Units writing GL, Auto and Umbrella/Excess lines of business with GWP premium of over $3B in 2023 reflecting 20% growth over 2022.ResponsibilitiesLeading the development, implementation and execution of product development strategies to deliver profitable, compliant and marketable general liability, commercial automobile and commercial umbrella/excess products in support of overall business objectives.
Provides legal oversight and subject matter expertise for the drafting of policy form language and the preparation of coverage analysis for general liability, commercial automobile and commercial umbrella/excess products.
Managing staff performance; implement strategies and plans to address staff development; identify and address training needs on an ongoing basisCollaborating with Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Actuarial, and other stakeholders to ensure knowledge gathering and sharing on market trends, regulatory impacts, legal changes and loss developments on lines of business.
