    Description
    We are currently looking to hire a

    Lead Substation Engineer (Physical/P&C)

    to work in the Power Delivery Substation Department in one of our client's office's across the U.S. or on a fully remote level (dependent on experience level).

    The pay range for this position is $115,000 - $160,000 per year, however pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills and experience.


    Responsibilities:
    Work with project team to create all design documents and drawings, including one and three-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, communications diagrams, wiring diagrams, substation layout plan, section and detail drawings and application of mark-ups for project built drawings
    Specification development for the procurement, installation and testing of substation equipment
    Apply engineering application software to complete engineering tasks such as ground grid design, equipment sizing, relay coordination, and electrical studies
    Communicate and coordinate project activities with project lead, customer representatives, and other stakeholders
    Perform work safely and effectively
    Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
    5+ years experience
    Experience in the design of wiring schematics
    Skilled in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
    Strong client focus and customer service
    P.E. or EIT Track heavily preferred
