    Job Description :

    This role is responsible for designing and executing an Underwriting Go To Market strategy that will enable profitable growth focused on Commercial Insurance industry needs. The role will drive execution to build out the broadest and most accurate approach to solving specific Commercial insurance needs such as loss ratio improvement, expense reduction etc. A key member of Intellect AI's leadership team, this role will drive our customers', prospects', analysts' and the overall industry's perception of us by understanding key stakeholders, client objectives, needs and goals for creating a strong partnership.

    1. Understand competitor offerings available across vendors and evaluate most effective and efficient solutions to bring to customers

    2. Lead product demonstrations and discussions with new prospects

    3. Understand emerging underwriting trends and contribute to Intellect AI's product roadmaps

    4. Show keen understanding of all Commercial Insurance lines - Specialty, Property and Casualty

    5. Understand industry data needs, gaps and best practices, and drive initiatives, both internal and via vendors, to solve the industry needs.

    6. Responsible for achieving revenue plans in assigned geography via a mix of new customers, growth with existing customers and retention

    7. Deliver strategic consulting to customers while solve client specific needs.

    Skillsets

    1. Minimum 7 yrs experience as an Underwriter and/ or Underwriting Manager

    2. Expert commercial lines insurance and insurance operations knowledge

    3. Strong leadership and communication skills; problem solving aptitude

    4. Must take a customer oriented approach and have a strong propensity for relationship building

    5. Strong organization and multi tasking skills

    6. Excellent verbal, communication and interpersonal skills

    7. Must be willing to travel as needed

    Education

    1. BA/BSc

    2. Insurance certifications preferred

    3. Data and Analytics or Insuretech experience a plus
