- Lead logistics and coordination of the candidate and new employee experience; direct and manage the tasks of external applicants, managers, interviewers, and executives in order to deliver a seamless and engaging interview process.
- Drive an immersive and welcoming onboarding experience for all new hires.
- Manage timely completion of new hire documentation, especially I-9, HRIS entry, and security trainings.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Process benefit changes through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Act as the go-to person for general HR inquiries, providing information and assistance to employees on HR-related matters.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the office environment to ensure a tidy and welcoming workspace.
- Manage snack and supplies ordering, ensuring that the office is well-stocked with necessary items for employee comfort and productivity.
- Manage office cleanliness including but not limited to keeping tidy conference rooms, communal spaces, watering plants, etc.
- Deal with office vendors.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, sorting and distributing as needed to appropriate recipients.
- Process and deposit checks promptly, maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
- Manage incoming calls and inquiries.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Have 3-5 years of experience in an HR focused role; experience in a startup environment is a plus.
- Believe in treating all people with dignity and respect, regardless of title or tenure.
- Have have strong verbal and written communication skills and confidence to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Are an expert organizer and task manager that can work quickly without sacrificing the details.
