    Hiring: Operations Manager & Commisary Driver

    The Butcher's Daughter is a busy, fast paced and vibrant vegetarian restaurant. We are home to locals, and a destination to travelers – and strive to create an environment & lifestyle that is welcoming to all. We are looking for a seasoned and excited operations manager to join the team, overseeing and working with all of our New York based locations.

    This person must understand the basics of:
    - Health and Safety Standards in the restaurant industry
    - Direction / Driving - must have a valid drivers license and clean driving history
    - Be a self starter and self disciplined

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manager weekly schedule for deliveries and coordinates with commisary team regarding preparation, parrs and special instructions
    • Assist with delivery and packing logistics
    • Helps with inventory control and ordering specific supplies as needed
    • Counts, organizes and maintains order and inventory of all dry goods, retail product and warehousing at three locations.
    • Delivery of all of our commisary products (bread, juice, market items) for three New York locations 3-5 days a week.
    • Provide administration support to kitchen management
    • Collaborate with the management team as needed
    • Overseeing a running repair and maitenance list at each location
    • Communicate effectively and clearly with management and leadership team around any outstanding issues
    • Run specific errands for the restaurant when needed
    • Must have the knowlesge and ability to make small repairs (paiting, simple plumbing, hanging, fixing, etc)
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards - Has currently valid driver's license
    • Can lift at least 50lbs consistently and be able to stand, bend and twist
    • Must have or be able to obtain Food Handler's Certification within 90 days of start date -
    • Full time, nights, weekends, some holidays and flexible availability is needed

    Required Qualifications:

    • At least 2 years of experience in some sort of mamagement
    • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically on multiple projects
    • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes
    • Excellent communicator and pro-active about sharing plans and results
    • Critical thinker

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    This role is onsite, offsite and mobile

    Ability to work remotely from different locations
