Description
A health tech company in New Jersey is actively seeking an experienced Sales professional to join their staff as their new Sales Director.
In this role, the Sales Director will be responsible for directly managing the day-to-day activity of all Sales personnel and establishing sales processes, bonus/compensation programs, territorial management, and all aspects of successful personnel management that improves company sales.
Responsibilities The Sales Director will:
Manage sales employees within the department ensuring the best possible and most efficient practices are in place.
Interview and train new sales hires
Interact with Account Executives to ensure information of selling and reporting of elements that might affect company success are known
Report any information that might affect the company's success to other directors and recommend solutions
Continually look for and recommend ideas that would improve the company's success
Possess the commercial mindset to induce growth of existing accounts and identify further business opportunities
Maintain contact with key accounts at a Senior-level
Ensure customers are maximizing their usage of the hardware with consumables
Oversee staffing and planning of trade show activity
Perform database analysis that identifies positive/negative trends
Assist the Marketing and Sales teams on special projects
Qualifications:
5+ years of Sales experience
Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
Experience in a Leadership and/or Supervisory role
Computer savvy
Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Solid problem solving and time management skills
Exceptional phone etiquette
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
