With over thirty years of experience in developing power, natural gas, oil, renewables, and infrastructure projects, they craft solutions coveted by regulators, customers, financial institutions, and suppliers. Their portfolio of successes spans from combined cycle natural gas power plants to cogeneration facilities, biofuels and biomass projects, and terminal development.

    Job Description

    The Project Development Manager (Renewable Energy) will be responsible for:

  • Managing and executing the development of utility scale renewable energy projects from greenfield to COD
  • Landowner outreach and contract negotiation
  • Coordinating with 3rd party consultants to prepare and submit permits including land use and zoning
  • Working closely with our project engineer to create preliminary layouts, production forecasts, and manage third-party consultants as needed
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of the regulatory and policy environments for assigned market(s)

    The Project Development Manager (Renewable Energy) will have

  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in renewable energy industry with full life-cycle utility scale development
  • Direct experience with interconnection applications
  • Experience with land development: landowner engagement, and negotiation/contracting, title resolution, agricultural land use/water restrictions
  • Bachelor's degree is required, Masters degree preferred
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Richmond, Virginia (relocation assistance offered)

    The Project Development Manager (Renewable Energy) will be eligible for

    $130,000 - $150,000 base salary

    Annual bonuses

    Comprehensive benefits packages

    Located in or willing to relocate to Richmond, Virginia (relocation assistance offered)
