    Novax represents a long-standing mechanical and industrial contractor in the Buffalo area currently looking to expand its commercial team.

    We are looking for a payroll assistant/ accountant with a background in the industrial or mechanical sectors.
    Efficiently and accurately handle payroll duties for over 150 employees

    • Generate reports, manage spreadsheets, and furnish data to the CFO upon request
    • Administer and update payroll and HR database systems
    • Conduct audits and manage payroll expenses
    • Handle Certified Payrolls, Compliance Reporting, and Union reports
    • Proficiently manage high-volume payroll processing
    Managing personnel files, records management
    Learn and become proficient in all accounting practices our other offices
    5 years of payroll experience.
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
    Previous construction accounting background
    Medical
    Dental
    Employer-paid life insurance and long-term disability
