- At least 4 years of experience in support of installations, repair, troubleshooting or maintenance of satellite communications electronic systems or equipment (MILSATCOM).
- Ability to write test reports and present results to management and customers.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Level Security clearance.
- Must be available to support 24 hour on-call requirements.
- Have a minimum of two (2) years' experience operating in a tactical satellite environment understanding LNA/LNB, up and down converters, Fiber optic/Coax/Ethernet Cable, Spectrum Analyzers, Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) and Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) modems (satellite modems) and Modem Hub operations.
- Shall have experience and skill with commercial and military satellite and commercial TDMA/FDMA modems required.
- On call with NOC 24/7
- HCX beam testing for baseline analysis.
- RFI (RF Interference) analysis and investigation.
- Ability to modify existing scripts (VI).
- Sun Conjunction documentation
- Travel to any of our worldwide locations for engineering/installation support.
- Work with Communication specialists on aircraft as needed for troubleshooting.
- Training with new satcom staff and the NOC.
- Ongoing administration of the Boeing customer portal.
- Kratos (RF over IP) deployment planning, documentation, buildout and support.
- DataPath CCT-120 deployment planning, documentation, buildout and support.
- LPT plot creation, layout, training, documentation, configuration changes and support.
- Newtec - training, deployment planning, documentation, buildout and support.
- Inventory of Satcom/RF Devices
- Shipment of Satcom/RF Devices
- SAS RF documentation. Experience with MS Excel and Visio.
- On call with NOC 24/7
- Investigate and resolve SatCom anomalies.
