We are seeking an ambitious and polished Accounting Manager to manage all aspects of our company s financials. This position reports directly to the CFO and has the unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on an industry-leading and fast-growing company We are VERY different from your typical recruiting firm.     Position: Accounting Manager

    Responsibilities:
    • Develop and manage comprehensive financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and statements to guide strategic decisions and ensure compliance
    • Oversee and streamline accounts payable, receivable, commission calculations, and general ledger activities for optimal financial operations
    • Coordinate tax planning and compliance, facilitate timely tax and payroll filings, and manage annual audits to meet financial regulations
    • Establish and maintain robust financial systems and controls to protect assets and ensure accurate data
    • Conduct month-end and year-end closings, P&L and multistate accounting, and detailed financial analysis of operating expenses
    • Support audit processes, enhance financial procedures, and ensure accurate reconciliation of financial records
    • Correct discrepancies in financial entries, review accounts payable, and manage bank and account reconciliations
    • Handle special projects and provide ad-hoc analysis as required
    • Perform bookkeeping activities, ensuring precise financial record keeping and compliance with legal and organizational standards
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;CPA or MBA is preferred
    • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial management and analysis
    • Experience in the staffing or professional services industry is preferred
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations
    • Tech-savvy and proficient in accounting software (e.G., QuickBooks, Salesforce, Netsuite) and Microsoft Excel
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally between departments
    • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
    • Must be polished and professional
    • Self-motivated, passionate, and hungry to make a big impact
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace and quick-moving environment
    Candidate must sit onsite in San Diego, CA
