    Job Description

    Title: Human Resources Manager

    Location: North Charleston, SC

    Status of Hire: Full-time, direct hire

    Pay: $100k (depending on experience)

    *Relocation Assistance Available*

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate staffing activities for hourly and salaried positions, including but not limited to recruitment, candidate screening and selection, hiring, and effective onboarding
    • Ensure HR systems and records are accurate, maintained and organized and in a legally compliant manner
    • Lead the Human Resources strategy of the plant and in line with business plans
    • Develop and implement safety training and safety audit cycle
    • Maintain a good relationship with government agencies and ensure legal compliances per statute
    • Establish and maintain a training program and evolving training plans
    • Maintain a data driven performance management system

    Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Human Resources or MBA (preferred)
    • 12 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
    • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or PHR credential (preferred)
    • Strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines
    • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
