    Event Coordinator - Madison, United States - Triple Shift Entertainment

    Position Summary:

    The Event Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all events are executed to our guest's satisfaction. They attend the weekly BEO meetings with the sales team and operations team and work directly with the guest by confirming the final number and walking through the event execution with them in advance. They also greet them onsite and introduce them to the team that will be taking care of them, in addition to assisting with groups as needed. The Event Coordinator will also conduct tours for prospective guest events and be knowledgeable in the menu offerings so any questions can be answered. Additionally, they will work in close partnership with the GM on charity requests and acting as a representative of the location at community sales driving events.

    Responsibilities:
    • Courage to greet guests and give them professional tours of the event space to encourage event bookings
    • Use Spirit to speak knowledgeably about the event packages and offerings available
    • Attend BEO meetings with the sales managers and operations team to ensure perfect event execution
    • Confirm final guest count and walk through the final BEO with the guest prior to the day of the event
    • Enter any updates to events in TripleSeat and Hubspot as needed
    • Own It by greeting guests upon event arrival for their event, review their BEO with them, and introduce them to their event execution team
    • Manage the fishbowl weekly to bring in potential guests for hosted events and event tours.
    • Courage. Review charity requests with the GM and follow through on donations and rejections following the protocol in place.
    • Attend community networking events as a representative of the location in partnership with the GM
    • Respect. Look for local ways to integrate within the community (i.e. Chamber/DCVB participation, community drives etc)

    Requirements
    • 1 to 2 years related hospitality experience
    • Spirit, show your outgoing personality that exhibits genuine hospitality
    • Excellence with superior written, verbal and organizational/multi tasking skills
    • Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
    • Own It by working toward in growing into an Event Sales role
    • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
