Description
Technical Program ManagerWe are specifically looking for a hands-on, Technical Program Manager to join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Managed Data Services teams to drive mission critical programs.
Understanding various cloud technologies and technical trade-offs, the ideal candidate will be an exceptional problem solver, strong communicator (both written and verbal), have well-rounded technical background, and comes with a history of leading large-scale, software development projects end-to-end.
Responsibilities + Help define and deliver, large scale enterprise level managed databases or data services + Independently drive highly complex programs with competing priorities by driving influencing roadmaps and priorities of key stakeholders.
+ Work with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain our roadmaps, set appropriate expectations, and ensure that services meet our high standards of operational excellence.
+ Take large, complex projects, break them down into manageable pieces, build detailed project schedules, then drive the delivery in a successful and timely manner.
+ Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and implementation. + Identify process gaps, improve current processes, and establish organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.+ Gain a deep technical understanding of OCI managed Databases and data services and be able to drive the technical direction of the teams, working with cross-functional, cross-service organizations.
+ Thrive and succeed in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or conflicting priorities. + Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. + Lead interactions with cross functional teams consisting of UX designers, engineers, product managers and executive leadership.Required Qualifications:
+ 10+ years managing large scale technical software programs and cloud services with cloud operations experience + Extensive experience managing large scale, highly complex cloud development projects, especially in the data services space. + High tech, cloud software environments, familiarity with compute/storage solutions + Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills + Sound judgment to influence product roadmap direction, features, and priorities. + Extensive Understanding of SDLC and modern application development + A demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically. + Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment. + Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly. + Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at different levels in the org, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Paid time off:
Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits.
For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
