Founding data scientist for the Advanced Analytics team at the region’s largest health care system, to include 7 hospitals, numerous inpatient and outpatient clinics, and associated administrative facilities. Led the data science initiatives of the health system and grew the analytical maturity of the organization to be comfortable with complex data representations and trust in predictive modelling. Led multiple teams up to 12 staff.

• Created an AI powered approach to app rationalization and OS migration in two desktop migration projects with 15,000+ endpoint devices each. The AI methodology adoption saved the expense of 10 year-long contract technicians and over 3000 person-hours of down time for internal customers per project.
• Key projects include Prescriptive User Pro-visioning, Propensity to Pay Predictive ensemble model, Environmental Impact studies, Service Area mapping studies, Predictive SARS‑CoV‑2 modeling, Relative Risk studies of disease mechanisms like flu and SARS‑CoV‑2, several other SARS‑CoV‑2 related analyses, Statistical optimization of VDI resources, NLP analysis, Endpoint Deployment Modelling, Profisee MDM PoC, Endpoint Device MDM and Isochrone shape creation and analysis.
• Envisioned and formed the Operational Intelligence function, a tactical force of 12 staff leveraged against critical initiatives such as an interim Identity Master Data Management solution supporting the Epic EMR go-live with a 10-day timeline after the vendor supplied solution failed, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars that would have been lost in a delayed schedule.
• Guided the organization through uncertainty to comfort and familiarity with machine learning aided results by enforcing the highest standards of integrity from vendor provided or internal models. Built or mentored dozens of ML models from ideation to fruition, in areas across the health system.
