- Reviews and audits payroll, timekeeping and supplemental pay records for compliance with established standards for each bi-weekly payroll.
- Posts changes in pay, tax status and miscellaneous employee changes.
- Assists in pulling and organizing data for external audit requests.
- Completes employment verifications and state employment verification requests.
- Processes garnishments, tax levies and other wage attachments, responding timely to required deadlines.
- Processes tax notices and financial reconciliations.
- Assists in the running of payroll reports to ensure accuracy of data.
- Assists in production and dissemination of sales commission workbooks.
- Mailing out live checks and processing unclaimed checks

- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience in a service or SAAS environment (Ceridian, ADP, Ultimate, Paychex).
- Knowledge of multi-state payroll; wage withholding and garnishments.
- Excellent client and communication skills.
- Able to read, write and speak English fluently. Bilingual is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must possess sound decision-making skills and multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment with specific deadlines.
- The duties associated with this position are generally performed in an indoor office setting.
- Equipment used to perform the essential function of this position includes, but is not limited to computer, fax, copier, merchant terminal, multi-line phone system, personal or company owned vehicle.
- Employees in this role are regularly required to climb, sit, stand, bend, kneel, and frequently lift to 25 pounds.
