Key Duties & Responsibilities
Essential function and responsibilities of job, in order of importance_
The Role's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Audit timesheets and interact with supervisors as required to verify data and resolve discrepancies.-
Enter payroll data into spreadsheets for loading into software.

Process special items as requested for but not limited to:
child support, moving expenses, expense reimbursements, bonuses, terminations. Process payroll in a multi-state corporate environment. Process and review pre and post payroll audit reports and resolve any payroll discrepancies. Meet all established deadlines for bi-weekly payroll as well as other assigned duties and projects. Review and prepare journal entries at month end. Act as back up for payroll manager as needed. Carry out other duties within the scope and purpose of the job.- Required Experience (Minimum experience & education needed to successfully execute the job)- High school diplomas or equivalent A minimum of 2+ years payroll experience is required. Proven ability to complete work accurately and with attention to detail. Ability to work on multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Strong and proven customer service skills Strong organizational skills Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required- Skills & Abilities (Unique attributes an incumbent will need to successfully execute the job- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service to our employees via verbal and written communications. Ability and desire to work on a team with the common goal to pay our employees accurately and on-time. Detail-oriented and can pivot from a task when needed. Enjoy problem solving and finding the why.- Working Conditions- Work is performed in an office environment. May require prolonged periods of sitting/standing.
