    Automotive Payroll Specialist

    Mike Calvert Toyota is seeking an experienced automotive Payroll Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX.

    Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and process payroll for employees and contractors
    • Process time and attendance, time cards, and payroll checks
    • Maintain accurate records of all payroll transactions and procedures
    • Prepare and process payroll checks for employees, contractors, and subcontractors
    • Reconcile accounts payable with related statements
    • Prepare bank deposits and manage electronic deposits for all departments
    • Prepare and process invoices for employees, contractors, subcontractors, and subcontractors
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
    • Ensure compliance with all Mike Calvert Toyota policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
    • Provide support to management in any area of employment law issues.
    • Other duties as assigned by management.
    Qualifications:
    3+ years of dealership payroll experience preferred. (or experience in a related field.)

    •Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. (or proficiency in accounting software.)

    •Strong analytical skills required. (preferably General ledger or similar system.)
