    Job Description and Duties

    Reporting to the Department of Finance, Client Services, Information Technology Manager II, the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I) leads the Client Services - End User Support team, overseeing Information Technology staff.

    The ITM I is responsible for managing the Department's IT Help Desk support, hardware and software resolution, mobile device management, telecommunications systems, asset management, IT procurement, contract management, and Universal Print.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently. They should have a keen understanding of California's IT policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to motivate and mentor staff effectively.

    Special Requirements

    Finance implements a hybrid telework model, requiring a minimum of two days in the office per workweek. The policy is subject to change, and additional in-office days may be necessary based on operational needs.
