    Dig It Play to Learn in Torrance on its mission to empower ALL kids to build and create the world around them.

    We are seeking a growth-driven, self-directed, relationship-oriented Event Sales Coordinator to collaborate with our managers and event team to increase event sales for parties and events.

    This is a wonderful early career role that has a lot of room for learning and growth.

    Role Description

    :

    Create a high-touch, concierge-level service to our guests throughout the event sales process. Field inbound event and birthday party leads within 24 hours to convert inquiries into sales. Maintain accountability for sales results. This position is hybrid. You will mainly be working from home, but you will be required to be onsite 2 days a month.

    Responsibilities:

    Achieve and exceed sales goals

    Handle incoming informational calls, return messages within 24 hours.

    Handle bookings, confirmations, and payments.

    Maintain organization of all event details

    Communicate with the operations team to ensure final booking details are clear.

    Execute your role's guest service performance standards on a daily basis


    Look for moments to engage guests and partners with enthusiasm and go above and beyond using your own authentic personality.

    Perform other marketing, sales, or crew-related duties as assigned.

    Interact with guests on an ongoing basis.

    Monitoring and tracking of clients requesting information

    Booking and facilitating site tours

    Communication with the management team on any needs or areas of concern that may affect other departments

    Maintain and update lead tracking and sales through Dig It's event sales software

    Coordinate scheduling of events to optimize event volume during high peak days/times

    Work with the marketing team to coordinate messaging and ensure the event calendar is timed and released to effectively promote events

    Coordinate and execute updates to the website, phones, and websites with ongoing event information

    Work with the Marketing team and others to generate leads to help drive event business

    Assists other members of the Marketing team during busy periods and large team projects as assigned


    Work with the events operations team to generate a "The Weekend Ahead" document for circulation with entire staff event roles and timelines.

    Establish and Maintain relationships with party vendors

    Weekly/Bi-Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting of sales

    Education/Training:

    Minimum:

    Associate Degree preferred

    Prior telephone and customer service

    Prior sales or lead generation experience is helpful
