QUALIFICATIONS

At least 1 year of experience in banquets and hotel sales
:
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial
- Professional verbal and written communication skills

- Providing services that are above and beyond for guest satisfaction and retention
- Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represents themselves and the hotel with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, a servicefocused approach, and a caring, sincere attitude always.
- Have current knowledge of hotel rates, strategies, discounts, and promotions.
- Monitor and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information, and determine proper setup, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, action stations, etc.
- Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance and guest satisfaction.
- Research competitor's sales strategies to identify ways to increase occupancy and market share.
- Coordinating and executing banquet events and corporate parties.
- Responsible for responding to RFPs as well as completing any required sales reports.
- Prepare contracts and proposals with accuracy and communicate timely and professionally with clients.
- Following up with prospects and generating leads
- Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing budgets.
- Advertising and selling our company's products and creating competitive advantages for our company in the market industry.
- Multitask and manage vendor relations.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support the team to reach common goals.
Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
