- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Organization Development preferred. Field-related Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.
- SHRM-SCP Certification required (PHR considered).
- Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations preferred.
- Possess ongoing affiliations with leaders in successful companies and organizations that practice effective Human Resources management.
- Broad knowledge and specialized experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development.
- Superior oral and written communication skills; including drafting and amending of Employment Agreements.
- Exceptional Microsoft Word/Teams/Outlook (basic Excel) skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills with the ability to relate to and influence individuals at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resource staff members.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the Executive Team (C-suite).
- Superior knowledge of various federal, state, and local employment laws and practices.
- Strong experience with HRIS systems, familiarity with UKG Ready a bonus.
- Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills – ability to complete and manage a variety of tasks/projects; particularly when faced with competing demands and priorities.
- Able to pass pre-employment background check, including motor vehicle record review and drug screening. Covid-19 and influenza vaccinations required.
- Available evenings and weekends.
- Must have reliable transportation.
