The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for recruitment & hiring, employee relations, benefits / payroll administration, organization development / training, OSHA, compensation management, personnel record maintenance, FMLA, ADA, worker's compensation and CA employment law.

The HR Specialist acts as an advisor, coach, and guide in all aspects of the employment life cycle.
Partnering with leadership to execute HR programs and initiatives:

Recruitment & hiring, employee relations, benefits / payroll administration, organization development/training, OSHA, compensation management, personnel record maintenance, FMLA, ADA, worker's compensation and CA employment law.

• Collaborating with managers to complete Individual Development Plans and Performance Improvement Plans.
• Travel

Employee must be able to travel 10% of the time.
Minimum of five years in a HR Generalist role, required.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related preferred OR equivalent experience and training.
• HR Certification ( PHR or above), strongly preferred .
• Experience in an Industrial Manufacturing environment , strongly preferred .
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the practices of Human Resources including recruitment & hiring, employee relations, benefits / payroll administration, organization development/training, OSHA, compensation, management, personnel record maintenance, FMLA, ADA, and worker's compensation.

Experience with HRIS / HCM systems; Ability to handle confidential material and information in an ethical, professional manner.
