    Description

    Join the motivated team at Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries, a local nonprofit organization, as Executive Assistant to the President | CEO. This role involves providing administrative assistance to the President, organizing Board of Directors meetings, managing Executive Office activities, and engaging with various stakeholders. The key to success in this position lies in strong interpersonal skills, proactive project management, and a sharp focus on detail and editing.

    · Organize the President/CEO's schedule for both internal and external meetings and responsibilities, including travel arrangements when necessary.

    · Engage with stakeholders such as Board members, staff, program participants, and community leaders to create a welcoming atmosphere in the Executive Office.

    · Schedule meetings with stakeholders, coordinate material distribution, track attendance, and follow up accordingly.

    · Prepare and organize meeting materials, ensuring timely access for the President/CEO.

    · Collaborate closely with other members of the Goodwill team, particularly in Philanthropy and Marketing and Communications.

    · This role necessitates strong proofreading, editing, and writing abilities.

    · A positive attitude and a good sense of humor are highly valued.

    · The position requires in-person presence from Monday to Friday.

    · Undertake any other administrative tasks as necessary.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    · A Bachelor's Degree (or an Associate's Degree in a related field) is a must.

    · A minimum of seven to ten years of professional experience in similar business roles, including working with C-Suite executives. Previous experience with Board of Directors is advantageous.

    · Demonstrated strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

    • Capable of handling sensitive or confidential tasks. Ability to interact effectively with high-level contacts both within and outside the organization.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    · Must meet the background check criteria as per Goodwill policies.
