- Provide general administrative support and coordination for all aspects of patient care for both new and/or established patients, including filing, document preparation, data entry, telephone support, etc.
- Gather information and perform data entry in timekeeping and payroll systems
- Serves as a liaison between patient/family/provider
- Responsible for ordering lunches and catering for meetings/events
- Answer assigned phone lines and direct calls; use correct telephone techniques and procedures when receiving and making calls; cross-cover other lines as assigned.
- Recognize emergencies and appropriately responses using standard operating procedures and critical thinking skills
- Responsible for preparing and operating schedules and handle daily schedule changes in the patient scheduling systems
- Obtain detailed clinical information face-to-face, by telephone or electronically in a professional manner
- Bachelors degree required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong prioritization, attention to detail and organizational skills
