    This position will lead a team of direct reports and work in partnership with the Product Development team and various cross functional stakeholders to define the product requirements and product strategy for new NGS system launches.

    They will be accountable for various activities within the product development process including the development of business plans, executing market research, defining product and commercial strategies and partnering across the organization to prepare and execute on an effective new product launch plan.

    The successful candidate will be a highly independent, seasoned veteran who has prior experience launching products and demonstrates best-in-class marketing capabilities.

    Act as primary marketing lead, accountable for product management responsibilities for new product development.

    Establish product/system level requirements as defined by customer/market and business need, leveraging best practices and data driven decision making including market research, voice of customer, business analytics, customer use cases etc.

    Partner with key commercial stakeholders to establish commercialization strategies and approaches to ensure product launch success
    Serve as product expert in partnership with Product Marketing to develop product launch value proposition, messaging, product training and launch collateral

    Understand key business drivers, based on data and analytics, market trends and direct interaction with Commercial teams and customers.

    Build close relationships with key customers, thought leaders, partners, and industry influencers to stay abreast of emerging market trends
    Establish strong cross functional partnerships with Product Development, Operations, Quality, Commercial and Global Marketing.
    Bachelor's degree required, MBA or PhD a plus.
    Must have at least 7+ years of industry experience in Product Management
    Must have demonstrated experience in developing and requirements and commercial launch plans for new product development; Must have market experience and knowledge of next-generation sequencing customer segments, needs and applications
    Prior experience in clinical genomic applications is highly desired
    Must have strong analytical skills – ability to tie detailed analysis to larger strategy and make data driven decisions is critical
    Must have demonstrated track record of successfully building new markets and market strategy
    Must have demonstrated track record of effective public speaking skills and executive level presentation experience.

    Manager/Associate Director, Product Management (HT NGS Systems) role based in the United States of America is: $188,400 - $282,600.

    Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

    Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
