Job Summary


As a Principal Product Manager, you will work to define the next-generation of Comcast global Smart TV products and platforms.

You will be leading the charge in shaping product strategy, partnership, and adoption of new technologies that ultimately attract new customers to our platform.


Core Responsibilities

  • Define the product feature set and roadmap by analyzing customer needs and pain points, understanding market trends, and bringing a unique value proposition to the product.
  • Lead the product roadmap and strategic planning. Responsible for product lifecycle management from conception to EOL, and product transition planning.
  • Internalizes and represents the Voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. Coordinates across other functional areas to secure buyin to deliver on the defined endtoend customer experience.
  • Ownership of the PRDs, feature definition, and product concepts. Work closely with engineering, development, & support teams to define feature requirements.
  • Work closely with partners on product spec alignment and tradeoffs. Ability to communicate and distill the information to guide the team in product direction and managing customer priorities and tradeoffs.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to establish business cases that serve as justification for new products and features with a clear representation of the costs and benefits.
  • Demonstrate ability to discuss technical concepts and evaluate opportunistic product ideas.
  • Drive competitive analysis and conduct market research to guide the product development, planning, and marketing teams. Maintains updated view of key competitive changes. Maintain pulse on emerging technologies that will shape the future of the TV industry.
  • Partner with GTM, business planning, & sales to improve product delivery to customer and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education
Bachelor's Degree


While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
