    **Position Overview**

    Autodesk's **Entertainment & Media Solutions (EMS)** team is hiring a Principal Product Manager to focus on **Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD)** for our Content Creation tools and our offerings for Autodesk Flow. Our solutions provide users the ability to manage productions throughout the entire creative process. In this exciting opportunity, you'll directly apply your experience working on large-scale Film, TV or Games productions. Reporting to our Director of Product Management, you'll partner with us on defining, designing and building the next-generation solutions and services for Autodesk's Content Creation products and for our platform, Autodesk Flow. You will meet with customers and our partners to inform and validate our product strategy and roadmap. You will also lead and partner with other teams to accomplish our product strategy, ensuring we're prioritizing workflows that create the most value to our customers. You possess hands-on experience with studio production processes (VFX, Games, TV, or Animation) and have worked directly with OpenUSD. You also have a working knowledge of how content creation and production management tools contribute to the final product.

    **Responsibilities**

    + Exercise leadership and guide product roadmaps for our Content Creation and Production Management and Platform initiatives based on an acute awareness of how OpenUSD and associated open standards are used today, and how they are evolving

    + Work across other divisions within Autodesk to help strengthen our unified cross industry focus on open standards

    + Be an external representative and stakeholder for Autodesk, publicly showing experience, participating in open source committees, and helping guide agreement in our industry

    + Use your Film/ TV / Games production management domain experience to define, champion and build a holistic product vision for our Media & Entertainment offerings

    + Be the customer-facing leader to learn and document what our customers need and how we can make them successful

    + Translate problem statements and customer needs into story maps to inform development priorities and plans

    + Work with a cross functional team made up of Product Owners, Scrum Masters, UX designers, developers, and other key stakeholders to build our product vision, within the Media & Entertainment team

    + Provide learnings from customer discovery and validation that supports iterative development

    + Balance long-term vision and big picture thinking with guidance of work in flight

    + Work with other team members and executives to set expectations, manage risks and dependencies, and trade-offs

    + Maintain your knowledge on emerging technologies and trends in the industry, including the evolution of open source projects and standards

    + Engage with customers and the industry through activities such as customer councils, executive briefings, industry events, media support

    **Minimum Qualifications**

    + 7-10 years of experience in Film / TV / Games production studios, working with multiple stakeholders such as producers, technical directors, production managers and artists to drive projects from conception to delivery

    + Must demonstrate an intimate understanding and point of view on customer problems related to production management and can define solutions for task planning, resource management, and related activities

    + Experience with Autodesk Content Creation and Production Management tools as used in VFX, Animation or Game pipelines, and other competitive tools

    + Proven ability to lead cross functional teams on sizeable productions and projects

    + Cross-team collaboration skills

    + Ability to take and analyze data from several sources to guide trade-offs

    + Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners both internally with executives and externally with customers

    + Able to take very complex ideas and convey them in a concise and impactful manner

Nos solutions offrent la possibilit de grer les productions tout au long du processus cratif. Dans ce rle, vous appliquerez directement votre exprience de travail sur des productions cinmatographiques, tlvisuelles ou de jeux grande chelle. Sous la responsabilit de notre Directeur de Gestion de Produits, vous collaborerez avec nous pour dfinir, concevoir et dvelopper les solutions et services pour notre gammes de produits logiciels et services ciblant lindustrie des effets visuels, des mdias tlviss et du jeu vido. Vous rencontrerez des clients et nos partenaires pour informer et valider notre stratgie et notre feuille de route de produit. Vous dirigerez galement et collaborerez avec d'autres quipes pour raliser notre stratgie de produit, en veillant ce que nous priorisions les flux de travail qui crent le plus de valeur pour nos clients. Vous possdez une exprience pratique des processus de production en studio (VFX, jeux, tlvision ou animation) et avez travaill directement avec OpenUSD. Vous avez galement une connaissance pratique de la manire dont les outils de cration de contenu et de gestion de production contribuent au produit final.

    **Responsabilits**

    + Exercer un leadership et guider les feuilles de route produits pour nos initiatives de cration de contenu, de gestion de production et de plateforme, en fonction d'une connaissance aigu de la faon dont OpenUSD et les normes ouvertes associes sont utiliss aujourd'hui et de leur volution.

    + Travailler avec d'autres divisions au sein d'Autodesk pour renforcer notre focus unifi sur les normes ouvertes travers les industries.

    + tre un(e) reprsentant(e) externe et une partie prenante pour Autodesk, en montrant publiquement votre exprience, en participant des comits open source et en aidant guider les accords au sein de notre industrie.

    + Utiliser votre exprience dans la gestion de la production cinmatographique/tlvisuelle/jeux pour dfinir, promouvoir et construire une vision holistique du produit pour nos offres dans les mdias et le divertissement.

    + tre le leader en contact avec les clients pour comprendre et documenter leurs besoins et comment les rendre performants.

    + Traduire les problmes et besoins des clients en cartes d'histoires pour informer les priorits et les plans de dveloppement.

    + Travailler avec une quipe pluridisciplinaire compose de propritaires de produit, de matres de scrum, de concepteurs UX, de dveloppeurs et d'autres parties prenantes cls pour concrtiser notre vision du produit, au sein de l'quipe des mdias et du divertissement.

    + Fournir des retours d'exprience issus de la dcouverte et de la validation des clients pour soutenir le dveloppement itratif.

    + quilibrer la vision long terme et une rflexion globale avec la gestion des travaux en cours.

    + Travailler avec d'autres membres de l'quipe et des cadres pour fixer les attentes, grer les risques et les dpendances, et prendre des dcisions en cas de compromis.

    + Maintenir vos connaissances sur les technologies et tendances mergentes de l'industrie, y compris l'volution des projets et normes open source.

    + Engager des discussions avec les clients et l'industrie grce des activits telles que des conseils clients, des briefings excutifs, des vnements de l'industrie, et un soutien mdiatique.

    **Qualifications requises**

    + 7 10 ans d'exprience dans les studios de production cinmatographique/tlvisuelle/jeux, en travaillant avec plusieurs parties prenantes telles que des producteurs, des directeurs techniques, des directeurs de production et des artistes pour mener des projets de la conception la livraison.

    + Doit dmontrer une comprhension intime et un point de vue sur les problmes des clients lis la gestion de la production et tre en mesure de dfinir des solutions pour la planification des tches, la gestion des ressources et des activits connexes.

    + Exprience avec les outils de cration de contenu et de gestion de production d'Autodesk tels qu'ils sont utiliss dans les pipelines VFX, animation ou jeux, ainsi qu'avec d'autres outils concurrents.

    + Capacit avre diriger des quipes pluridisciplinaires sur des productions et des projets de grande envergure. Comptences de collaboration interquipe.

    + Capacit prendre et analyser des donnes provenant de plusieurs sources pour guider les compromis.

    + Exprience de communication des mises jour produit, des jalons et des avances aux partenaires internes et externes, tant en interne avec les cadres qu'en externe avec les clients.

    **Salary transparency**

    Salary is one part of Autodesks competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $151,400 and $244,860. Offers are based on the candidates experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
