What we are looking for:

About the responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from design hand off to exfactory by communicating project information and setting expectations with vendors and manufacturing updates with internal stakeholders.
  • Generate RFQ's and submit to vendors, with the ability to review/analyze costs, negotiate pricing, and issue PO's.
  • Document and Manage Production Updates on a daily basis, while monitoring and tracking production deliverables in cloudbased project management software.
  • Submit and Document Licensing Submission stage gates throughout entire product development process
  • Own project status and resolve problems expeditiously.
  • Function as a liaison point to keep all parties aware of overall project impact to facilitate management decisions at the earliest possible time.
  • Ensure all products meet criteria: Quality, Price, and On-Time Delivery.
  • Contributes to finding solutions for sourcing and product development needs.
  • Participate in meetings at the operational and project level and reports to leadership often.

About the qualifications:

  • 5 + Years Experience with Plastic Injection Manufacturing Processes, Materials, and Production.
  • 5 + Years of Project Management experience, preferably in production development.
  • Experience with RFQ Processes and Negotiating with overseas Vendors.
  • Basic Knowledge of STL's and 3D File Viewing Software.
  • Technical expertise in product development specification and design for manufacturing a Variety of Plastic/Materials in Injection Molding and other Manufacturing Processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate with a positive attitude under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problemsolving, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to preempt production development of products.
  • Scheduled Focus to ensure products are delivered on time and budget.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Collaborates well with crossfunctional teams.
  • Keen eye for detail and Quality Control.
  • Proficient computer skills, specifically Excel and cloudbased databases, basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Basecamp, Airtable, and 3D Model Viewing Software a Plus.
