- Executes transactional requirements and demands per the Materials Resource Planning system.
- Communicates with suppliers on routine purchase orders.
- Attends cross-functional meetings and assists with data needed to achieve organizational requirements and deadlines.
- Learns transactional requirements and demand plans to update cross-functional teams.
- Measures and reports on various key performance indicators (KPIs.)
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
- Computer skills including the use of standard office software programs including spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, and email applications.
- Must be self-motivated with a high energy level and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to high standards of excellence and integrity.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move physical inventory weighing up to 10 pounds.
- American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification.
- Experience in materials/production management, including Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) and bill of materials.

The Materials Specialist is responsible for transactional buying, scheduling, planning, coordinating, and monitoring the production and inventory requirements through the ERP processes to support production and service demand. This role assists with providing the data needed to achieve organizational requirements and deadlines.
