    APR Consulting has been engaged to identify an Administrative Assistant

    Location: Santa Barbara, CA 93105

    Position: Administrative Assistant

    Pay Rate: $27.80/hr

    Duration: 16 weeks

    Shift: 7:30 AM - 4 PM or 8 AM - 4:30 PM

    POSITION SUMMARY

    To provide administrative support and develop workflow processes and systems for a department and/or Department Director with minimal supervision and direction.

    Role to include answering phones, scheduling meetings, taking minutes, ensuring adequate office supply inventory, assisting with department timekeeping, and submitting orders/invoices, etc.

    Duties/Responsibilities
    • Composes correspondence without draft contents.
    • Coordinates travel arrangements and other duties or projects as needed.
    • Enters data into a database, provides summary reports, and adds fields as necessary.
    • Schedule meetings and appointments. Transcribes minutes of meetings.
    • Answers, screens, and initiates phone calls rerouting inquiries for department.
    • Coordinates gathering of input, documents, etc. from single sources for reports and presentations.
    • Serves as liaison for the department/work unit.
    Required Experience/Qualifications
    • Minimum Education: Associate Degree
    • Requirements: Intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook skills, Min. 45 wpm keyboarding/typing speed
    • Years of Experience: 1-3 yrs. Related work experience
