Sterling Engineering is a growing staffing and engineering services firm that specializes in placing top talent in the U.S and Ireland. We are partnered with a long-time manufacturing client of ours on bringing in an Accounting Manager to join their team.

Overview of Job:

Generate monthly financial statements for designated entities and contribute to the consolidation of financial outcomes.
Enhance operational efficiency by refining current processes and protocols, focusing on ongoing enhancements and the reinforcement of internal controls.
Execute internal operational audit initiatives on a periodic basis; support external accounting firm during financial audits and the formulation of Corporate Tax Returns.
Contribute to the credit evaluation process for prospective clients while ensuring adherence to sales and use tax guidelines.
Work as lead accounting employee

Whats Needed?

Bachelors in Accounting OR Finance
At least 3 years of experience in a senior/supervisor level accounting role
Manufacturing experience
Someone willing to be on-site
