Aegis Worldwide is looking for a regional Sales Manager for a client HQ in the Chicagoland area. This is a 50% travel position and 50% remote role.
In each of these territories, there are 10 to 20 outside manufacturing sales representatives equipment. These representatives are selling the equipment of multiple OEMs. The regional sales manager will be responsible for leading the independent sales manufacturing reps to drive sales growth. This will be a remote position that has a heavy travel focus of about 50 percent. Most travel will be focused on meeting with the independent manufacturing reps and developing these relationships.

They will also attend some trade shows and meet with clients as well, but most of the travel will be focused on strengthening the relationships with the outside manufacturing representatives.

The ideal candidate has the following:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical background.

5+ years' experience working within capital equipment sales.

o It's a perk if they come from a custom equipment maker.

5+ years' experience managing independent manufacturing sales representatives.

Ability to travel 50% of the time.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Understanding of the capital equipment sales process and handling longer sales cycles.
