    Position: Part-Time Operations Manager hours/week)

    Location: Hybrid with base in the greater Houston, Texas area

    Company: Carbon Ridge

    About Us: Carbon Ridge ("CR") is a United States based developer of carbon capture & storage solutions (CCS) for the Maritime industry. Onboard Carbon Capture ("OCC") provides a low-cost and near-term solution to significantly reduce the intensity of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases (GHGs) onboard large maritime vessels.

    Job Summary: We are seeking a Part-Time Operations Manager to oversee our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in shipyard operations and/or manufacturing facilities. This role will begin as a part-time position with the opportunity to transition to full-time.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Implement strategies to improve processes and reduce costs.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
    • Coordinate with various team members to achieve project milestones.
    • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and supply chain management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
    • Ideally with experience as an Operations Manager in shipyards, manufacturing / fabrication facilities or engineering teams.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
