The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the Americas Region Operational Functions.

Overall accountability for the region's short term and long-term depot strategy to ensure sufficient capacity for storage and repair of our fleet of containers in North and South America.

Ability to manage inventories of equipment and parts to meet the strategic plan.

Provide overall direction and assistance to Maintenance and Repair Controllers, Technical Surveyors/Engineers, as well as third-party dept partners and suppliers to promote continuous improvement.

The Operations Manager is responsible to establish and maintain productive working relationships with employees, co-workers, management, customers, and suppliers within all regions to maintain and strengthen the EXSIF supply chain


Functional Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual operations plan for the area, while meeting and supporting annual budgets developed at company headquarters.
  • Manage and improve depot performance, while meeting safety, quality and cost control goals.
  • Support all fleet management initiatives as prescribed by Vice President of Engineering and SVP of NASA to ensure smooth delivery and acceptance of new equipment.
  • Work with Houston Sales and Marketing team and VP Engineering to ensure availability and supply of market demand equipment.
  • Manage and improve depot throughput, resources and turn time to realize and ensure equipment availability enabling NASA team to achieve plan and be ready to fulfill customer orders.
  • Manage repair budget for NASA.
  • Ensure control and accuracy of all EXSIF equipment within the region, and maintain the information within the system, including resolution of problem units.
  • Coordination with Vice President of Engineering for the processing and eventual disposal or sale of tank containers in the region.
  • Frequent internal and external communication in support of the Marketing strategy.
  • Develop and maintain effective business relations with partners and customer accounts.
