The duties and responsibilities of an Ops. Manager in "The Company", is to be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a Branch/Warehouse. Some specific tasks and responsibilities that an Ops.

Manager may be responsible for include but are not limited to:

Planning and coordinating work activities: There are several strategies that an Ops.

Supervisor can use to be more efficient in planning work activities:

Identify and prioritize tasks: Identify the most important tasks that need to be completed and prioritize them accordingly. This can help ensure that the Machines are completed on priority basis and that resources are allocated effectively.

Create a schedule: Create a schedule that outlines when tasks should be completed and by whom. This can help ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner and that there are clear expectations for each team member.

Assign tasks based on skills and experience: An Ops. Supervisor should assign tasks based on the skills and experience of team members. This can help ensure that tasks are completed effectively and efficiently, as team members will be able to utilize their strengths and expertise.

Use Technology tools: Must use management tools, such as Google Sheets, MachineHub, Spreadsheets, Trello, or a Company approved software to create a visual representation of tasks, assign them to team members, and track progress. This can help streamline the planning process and make it easier to manage work activities.

Communicate clearly: An Ops. Manager should communicate clearly with team members, outlining expectations and deadlines for tasks. This can help ensure that team members understand their responsibilities and can work effectively and efficiently.

Quality control: Responsible for monitoring the quality of Machines getting ready by the Team and implementing quality control measures to ensure that each machine meets The "Company" standards.

Training and development: Responsible for providing training and development opportunities for team members, including on-the-job training, coaching, and outsourced training and development from professionals from our Industry (e.g. Machine Builder, CNC control, Riggers etc.).

Handling customer inquiries and complaints: Ops. Manager is responsible for answering customer inquiries and complaints that come through the Sales Team and works to resolve any issues that may arise with the help of Technicians.

Ensuring Safety and regulations: Ops Manager must ensure that the warehouse Team is using safe practices and utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) to perform their Tasks and in compliance with OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and industry standards.
