    About the Role:

    Our client, a premier lobbying organization with an incredible client roster, based here in Midtown Manhattan, NYC is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for managing and overseeing the lifecycle of projects spanning digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential domains. The successful candidate will be instrumental in establishing processes, managing risk, analyzing data, and enhancing communication to ensure project success.

    The role is "Hybrid" in nature – both work from home as well as in office (Midtown Manhattan, NYC).

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Management: Establish and maintain project management processes across the lifecycle, ensuring adherence to quality and performance standards. Manage scope, risks, and project databases across various tracks and platforms, focusing on overall progress.

    Data Analysis and Intelligence: Collaborate with data collection teams to develop metrics and KPIs for assessing service utilization, system configurations, business processes, data management, and infrastructure. Implement recommendations based on data insights to optimize operational efficiency.

    Content and Communications: Produce and contribute to a wide range of communications materials, including digital and print assets. Utilize multiple channels and approaches to support the objectives and ensure strong writing skills and professional communication capabilities.

    Risk Management and Mitigation: Proactively identify and analyze project risks to devise effective mitigation strategies, maintaining logs and categorizations with a focus on managing risk tolerance.

    Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, facilitating the management of key client and colleague relationships.

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    • Lead project planning sessions, defining requirements, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
    • Develop detailed project plans, ensure resource availability and allocation, and deliver every project on time within budget and scope.
    • Facilitate and/or participate in regular team and client conference calls.
    • Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation and identify and design risk mitigation plans and tactics.
    • Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive staff and senior consultants.
    • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments.
    • Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.
    • Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources, including third-party vendors and researchers.
    • Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs.
    • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans.
    • Develop and contribute to content creation, materials, and copy for clients, including content for monthly reports.
    • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
    • Research, analyze data, and connect trends to recommendations as needed.
    • Perform additional duties that may be assigned in relation to this position's scope of accountability.
