    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director/Sales Manager to join our team.

    In this role, you will lead and manage a team of nine sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the achievement of sales targets and overall business objectives.

    While you will not have direct sales responsibilities, you will work closely with the sales team, riding along with them to client meetings and projects, offering insights, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.


    Responsibilities:

    • Lead, coach, and mentor sales representatives, driving performance and accountability to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to maximize market penetration and growth opportunities within target sectors, including K-12 education, higher education, municipalities, and healthcare.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to define sales strategies, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure success.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for skills development and training to enhance the capabilities of the sales team.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and accountability, promoting a positive and supportive work environment conducive to professional growth and success.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners to drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
    Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities,Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management or leadership roles within the commercial flooring industry.
    • Proven track record of success in leading and managing sales teams to achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue objectives.
    • Strong understanding of commercial flooring products, applications, and installation processes, with expertise in sectors such as K-12 education, higher education, municipalities, and healthcare.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence others to achieve results.
    • Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of developing and executing effective sales strategies and initiatives.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, with a customer-centric mindset focused on delivering exceptional service and value.
