    As the Director of Sales, this position will develop and lead a team of sales leaders and managers through providing strategic direction to ensure superior customer service and associate accountability across a regional business.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic direction to sales management through setting sales objectives and goals for the assigned regional market. This includes identifying sales opportunities, setting sales targets/expectations including opportunities for market share, margin growth, etc.
    • Design strategic plans to achieve/exceed target's.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement for the Sales team by coaching, motivating, and mentoring.
    • Partner with Regional teams to build and nurture customer relationships while enhancing the overall customer experience.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
    • Identify and eliminate obstacles by collaborating with internal groups to facilitate effective solutions for the sales team.
    • Proactively identify internal and external areas of opportunity for improvement to mitigate customer and internal associate concerns/issues. Efficiently resolve conflict through strong problem-solving skills.
    • Provide insight to the Vice President on market shifts and strategic direction of business segments within the channel.
    • Ensure accurate customer information is captured within our CRM system (Salesforce) for effective sales funnel management.
    • The ability to cross function between the different regional business units.
    • Make timely and appropriate recommendations for ongoing education and training for new and existing team members.
    • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree
    • 5+ years experience directly managing a sales team
    • Equipment, Parts & Supplies and Light Commercial HVAC experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive sales, revenue, and business growth.
    • Strong decision-making skill's; compelling business and financial acumen
    • Excellent communication and team leadership skills, with a passion for sales and team development.
    • Ability to work flexible hours and travel when necessary.
    • Must be a self-starter, articulate and possess excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in MS office/Salesforce applications.
