Agribusiness Business Development Manager
who will be responsible for overseeing a team of Business Development Specialists for our agribusiness group. The leader will be accountable for making decisions in accordance with risk selection and pricing parameters.
The manager drives agency management practices and efforts in establishing and executing strategies to achieve financial plans. In addition, you will work closely with Home Office and Regions to present FCCI's brand to agents and policyholders. As a part of this strategy, the leader will participate in the development and promotion of marketing materials, advertising and proper delivery of appropriate messaging
This position will be remote in Florida or within our Midwest territory.

Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
(Note:
Relevant, progressively responsible work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education)
Minimum six years commercial, multi-line, P&C marketing and underwriting experience preferably with Commercial AG/Farm products
Minimum of two years leadership experience
Strong knowledge of underwriting processes, coverages, tools and company products and services.
Strong knowledge of the Independent agency system.
Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgment and decision-making.
Ability to determine customer needs, provide solutions and price business appropriately.
Solid working knowledge of economic data, analysis and analysis tools.
Preferred
Industry designation, (CPCU, AU, AFIS)
