The Assurance Services Manager role includes the execution of high-quality audit engagements, including building high-performing teams, managing risks, developing staff, and displaying firm loyalty with a positive attitude.
Successful Managerial Qualities:
Actively engage in required consultations.
Providing helpful feedback to staff during formal evaluations and informal staff discussions
Staff mentoring and retention
Seeks opportunities for business development
Strong focus on client service and engagement management
Identify and implement operational efficiencies.
Challenge the effectiveness of the audit strategy and approach for all engagements.
Extensive specialized industry expertise develops niche or specialization for self within the Firm.
We are sharing insight and responsiveness to all clients while demonstrating an understanding of the client's business.
Provides exceptional value/ services to each client
Continually growing and improving to enhance the client experience.
Requirements:
A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance
Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license
Experience with planning, executing, and reporting on audits of internal controls over financial reporting following GAAP.
Prior experience auditing in a middle-market client base (preferred)
Approximately five years (+) of public accounting experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Dedication to teamwork and excellent leadership skills
