    Description

    The IT Help Desk Support Specialist will provide friendly and professional customer service and technical support, while also assisting users and IT team members in resolving computer hardware and software issues.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Offer telephone and email support to corporate users for computer software, hardware, peripherals, and networks
    • Handle access permissions, password changes, and resets
    • Become proficient in all internal business applications, providing initial PC/network and application support to users
    • Act as the first point of contact for diagnosing hardware/software issues with PCs and printers
    • Identify, resolve, and escalate computer hardware and software issues, as well as equipment setup and configuration problems
    • Accurately log all calls and activities in a ticket tracking system
    • Provide 2nd level support, including user onboarding & offboarding, and manage Active Directory accounts
    • Process requests for remote and mailbox access according to established protocols
    • Participate in special projects and handle additional assigned duties

    Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years' experience in level one help desk support within a corporate IT environment
    • Basic Technical Certification (A+, networking, MCP, etc.)
    • Strong customer service orientation, proactive attitude, and excellent follow-through
    • Interest in learning new software and hardware, advanced computer knowledge, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and experience with various platforms including MS Windows 10 and Apple (MAC)
    • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting with minimal supervision
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

    Minimum Education:

    • Bachelor's degree
