Join Our Team as an IT Support Specialist at Higher Ground Education!

Higher Ground Education is looking for a talented IT Support Specialist to join our team and assist staff at our growing network of schools and Central Team users. As we plan to expand with approximately 50 new schools each year, this role will play a crucial part in providing Level 1 support for incoming trouble tickets and escalating complex issues when needed. Reporting to the Senior IT Services Manager, you'll collaborate closely with other internal IT staff and may also work on additional IT projects. This remote role is based in the Pacific time zone, so residing there is a must.

Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach are essential in this dynamic role where you'll work in a fast-paced environment and engage with team members and customers.

Salary for this position ranges from $55,000 - $65,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

Respond to, track, and resolve Levels 1 and 2 support tickets through our Freshservice system.
Escalate issues to Level 3 support when necessary.
Handle software and hardware deployment, inventory, and configurations.
Provide end-user support for various SaaS applications.
Collaborate with the IT team to enforce policies and support initiatives.
Deliver exceptional customer service, taking ownership of issues.
Support other IT projects and tasks as required.
Strengthen data and endpoint security measures in line with industry standards.

Skills:

3+ years of Level 1 Helpdesk experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft products and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with ITSM ticketing systems and Microsoft environments.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Self-driven with a passion for education and customer service.
Excitement about working in a fast-paced setting.
