    Manager of Software Delivery
    at Designed Conveyor Systems

    Franklin, TN or Remote


    About the Role:


    As the Manager of Software Delivery under the leadership of the VP of Software, you will be responsible for planning and executing the companys onsite software implementations and support.

    You will support quoting and manage software delivery across multiple projects.

    This will require collaboration with DCS Leadership, Sales, Consulting, Systems Engineering, Estimation, Project and Design Engineering, Purchasing, Supplier Relations, and Customer Service.

    In this role, you will

    • Under the leadership of the VP of Software, develop and execute the organizations overall Software strategies
    • Support the creation of DCS first software product, a Warehouse Controls Software (WCS) package
    • Under the leadership of the VP of Software, build and manage the organizations Software delivery team
    • As required, engage in the Sales Process with all pre-contract functions to ensure that all project software engagements, both internal and external, are planned and priced appropriately during project bidding process
    • Ensure the career and skill development of your functional and sub-functional teams
    • Research industry news and trends and enhance DCS strategies and incorporate when advantageous
    • Innovate to ensure that DCS is a leader in the industry
    • Evaluate organizational performance data to identify areas of opportunity and adapt

    Were excited about you because

    • You have 5 or more years of experience working in and leading project delivery and teams
    • You preferably have a masters degree in a related field
    • You are excited to build and grow the DCS Project Software Team
    • You are capable and willing to fill all necessary software roles (architect, developer, implementer, support, etc.) while you are building your team
    • Youre able to deliver results in fast-paced and high-stress environments
    • You are an enabler and enhancer of our company culture
    • You have excellent communication skills and youre able to work well with clients, management, and multidiscipline teams
    • Youre a self-motivated performer who can execute with minimum supervision and guidance
    • Youre a creative problem-solver who can manage multiple complex tasks and projects at a time
    • You are proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
