    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and directing the sales activities and logistics of the company in the Central Region. The primary focus is on achieving sales, growth, and profit objectives in the area specified, including Seattle, Portland, Reno, Sacramento, San Leandro, and Santa Clara.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    • Analyze company operating plans and strategies to enhance performance
    • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and competitive landscape
    • Develop sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth
    • Meet sales targets within set deadlines and territories
    • Identify new customers and sales opportunities to support industry growth
    • Prepare estimates, budgets, and schedules for projects
    • Establish and maintain proposal processes and negotiate effectively
    • Communicate value propositions and company strengths
    • Build strong customer relationships while ensuring profitability
    • Travel as needed to meet objectives
    • Coordinate sales operations across departments
    • Set and monitor sales performance goals for team members
    • Manage and support the sales team, provide coaching and feedback
    • Plan and deliver specialized sales training
    • Analyze personnel and equipment needs
    • Optimize logistics processes for efficiency
    • Represent the company and liaise with clients
    • Drive project execution, quality assurance, and health & safety
    • Mobilize resources for project teams
    • Identify key project positions and qualifications
    • Perform other relevant responsibilities

    • Clients, suppliers, subcontractors, government agencies

    PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • A 4-year degree in Sales, Marketing, Program, or Construction Management
    • 7-10 years of relevant work experience
    • Experience in sales strategy planning at regional and enterprise levels
    • Technical sales and customer relationship skills
    • Knowledge of transportation and construction market research
    • Team management experience
    • Ability to lead in a matrixed organization
    • Specialized industry knowledge
